Autarchico coffee table

Le Fablier Autarchico coffee table from Paolo Ulian's La volta celeste collection is made of Bardiglio marble or white Carrara marble. The top of each small table is obtained by staggered assembly of three thin slabs of marble drilled with water-jet technology according to an abstract pattern, creating a particular play of light and shadow with a silent appearance and a depth effect that unhinges the natural texture of marble by renewing its image and its reuse through new design solutions. Waste pieces derived from the drilling of tops, usually discarded, are here stacked to build the legs of small tables. Reuse and recreate, are the apt words to describe the work behind the making of the Autarchico coffee table.
