Primitiva bookcase

Le Fablier Primitiva bookcase from Paolo Ulian's La volta celeste collection is a modular bookcase made of white Carrara marble. The Primitiva bookcase is constructed using mass-produced marble tiles intended for flooring you build a cubic module that is then assembled in vertical and/or horizontal sequences. A slight chamfering operation on two sides of each marble chip produces a significant visual lightening without affecting the structural bearing capacity of the whole in the slightest.
